A group managing device and a group managing program both for ensuring the simultaneity of information when information about the operation states of facility devices is acquired from management devices. The group managing device (30) is connected to first to n-th managing devices (20a<SUB>1</SUB> to 20a<SUB>n</SUB>) for central management of facility devices (10C<SUB>1</SUB> to 10 C<SUB>n</SUB>) belonging to first to n-th facility device groups (15b<SUB>1</SUB> to 15b<SUB>n</SUB>). The group managing device (30) used for central management of the first to n-th facility devices and comprises inquiring sections (34a<SUB>1</SUB>, 34a<SUB>n</SUB>, ...) for repetitively inquiring of the first to n-th managing devices about the operation states of the facility centralizedly managed by the first to n-th managing devices and an allocating section (34b) for allocating different inquiring sections to the respective first to n-th managing devices. The allocating section allocates other inquiring sections to the first to n-th managing devices depending on the state of inquiring about the facility devices by at least one inquiring section.
