Provided is an O<SUB>3</SUB> producing device for producing the O<SUB>3</SUB> to be fed to the exhaust of the internal combustion engine, by generating plasma. The O<SUB>3</SUB> is produced when the internal combustion engine is in the decelerating state, in which the engine load becomes low.
