<p>The invention relates to medicine. The inventive ophthalmological gel comprises 0.2-0.5% low-cross-linked polyacrylic acid and/ or derivatives thereof, preservatives, stabilisers, a medicinal substance selected from a reparant group and clean water, and has a pH value within the range of lachrymal liquid. The gel contains 1- (ß-oxyethyl)-4,6-dimethyl-1,2-dihydro-2-oxypyrimidine (xymedon) in the form of a medicinal substance. The inventive gel production method consists in adding an aqueous 10-30% polyethylenoxide solution into a dry powder of low-cross-linked polyacrylic acid associated with rapid agitation, polyethylenoxide being takenat least in a tenfold excess with respect to the mass of the powder, in adding, while agitating, clean water in a quantity equal to 70-90% the total mass of the gel, in adjusting a pH value to a value of 6.0-7.0 by means of a sodium hydroxide solution, in adding, while agitating, an alkali stabiliser, preservative and antibiotic solution, which is previously prepared in a separate reactor, by mixing the aqueous solutions of benzalkonium chloride, bisodium edetate and gentamicin sulphate, in subsequently adding a 10-20% sodium hydroxide solution, in adding xymedon at a mass concentration of 1-10%, in adjusting, for the second time, the pH value to a required value by means of a sodium hydroxide solution and in sterilising the thus produced gel.</p> |
