<p>In an apparatus for germination and growth comprising an openable and closable heat-insulating chamber (11), an illumination unit (15) for illuminating the inside of the heat-insulating chamber (11), a temperature-regulating unit for heating and/or cooling the inside of the heat-insulating chamber (11) and a controlling unit for controlling the temperature-regulating unit, a seed or a plant (70) is placed in the heat-insulating chamber (11) for germination or growth. This apparatus is further provided with a breath-blowing unit (30) for blowing human breath into the heat-insulating chamber as described above. Owing to this constitution, the carbon dioxide gas concentration in the heat-insulating chamber can be elevated and the growth of the plant can be promoted.</p> |
