<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which can quickly display a message, associated with a mode having high possibility that a user would utilize, and to provide a control method of the image processing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus can take a plurality of different operation modes and shift to a sleep mode wherein electric power is saved, and has an operation mode storage means of storing a predetermined operation mode; a cancel trigger decision means of deciding user operation becoming a trigger to cancel the sleeve mode; and a display picture selecting means of selecting a display picture to be displayed on an operation panel part according to the operation mode stored in the operation mode storage means and the user operation decided by the cancel trigger decision means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
