PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus for accurately measuring a color, and enabling the use of a backing having a color based on an ISO standard. SOLUTION: The recording apparatus has a color measuring section. The backing is a component of the color measuring section, formed from a resin, and detachably attached to an attaching location by a magnetic force of magnets. The backing is attached to a base plane at the attaching location by a plurality of the magnets. A surface of the backing is corrected to a planar shape for imitating the base plane.
