Patterned non woven fabric - by needling pattern yarns onto a non-woven base web

One or more pattern yarns (silver or roving) of dec orative fibres are passed together with a non-woven base web to a needling machine which needles the yarns onto the web to produce a relief pattern. Separation of the yarns may be controlled by needs. A large variety of patterned fabrics can be produced cheaply.
