The machine (10) has a stripper (36) with a horizontal extending plate, where a vertical wall extends downwards from the plate. A gap is bridged between a cutting disk and a conveying element (16) in a vertical direction by the wall. The plate is connected with a frame (17) by a vertically extending post (52). A vertically downward extending, cylindrical countersink element (56) is attached below the plate, where an axis of the countersink element is provided on an envelope of the conveying element and the countersink element is arranged in a distance from the wall and the post.
