The invention relates to a construction machine having a driver's cab, th e reinforced cab structure of which serves to protect the driver, wherein th e driver's cab is mounted by means of a base plate on a machine-side driver' s platform frame. According to the invention, the rigidity of the cab struct ure is greater, at least with respect to a lateral application of force, tha n that of the base plate and/or of the driver's platform frame, such that in the event of a load being applied, firstly the base plate and/or the driver 's platform frame are deformed.
