<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is impossible to acquire information after any disaster occurs since a conventional digital broadcasting receiver does not start due to the occurrence of power failure during the reception of emergency broadcasting, and emergency warning broadcasting becomes non-receivable. <P>SOLUTION: A microcomputer 27 stores a descriptor (start flag for emergency warning broadcasting) showing emergency broadcasting in a non-volatile memory 24. When power failure occurs, a power source switching device 26 switches the operating power source of the microcomputer 27 from an AC power source 3 to a battery 25, and secures the operating state of the microcomputer 27, and the microcomputer 27 reads the storage information of the non-volatile memory 24. When the descriptor is read from the non-volatile memory 24, the microcomputer 27 judges that emergency broadcasting is being received before power failure, and confirms whether or not the descriptor is extracted from the digital broadcasting which is being received gain, and automatically tunes and receives emergency broadcasting when confirming that the descriptor is extracted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
