<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device which achieves bidirectional scan without causing increase of circuit scale of shift register circuit and a circuit area and deterioration of operating margin, and to provide a semiconductor device to be used for a driving circuit of a scan line of the image display device. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device is equipped with: a pixel array 3 of which scan line is driven by shift register circuits 1 and 2; a source driver 5 which writes image data in a pixel transistor 4 which constitutes a pixel array 3; a power source circuit 6 which supplies power supply voltage to shift register circuits 1 and 2; a timing generation circuit 7 which generates timing required for a source driver 5 or shift register circuits 1 and 2 based on a vertical synchronization signal, a horizontal synchronization signal, image data, dot clock or the like; and a control signal switching circuit 8 which controls switching of shift register circuits 1 and 2 based on a logic of the scan direction switching signal (DIR). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
