PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an examining method and an examining reagent for autoimmune pancreatitis (AIP) and fulminant 1 type diabetes mellitus (FT1DM). SOLUTION: AIP or FT1DM is examined by detecting an antibody, immunologically reacting with amylaseα2-A, in an analyte, or an onset possibility of FT1DM is determined. The antibody is detected by an immunological method using an antigen immunologically reacting with the antibody, for instance.
