PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate highly accurately riding feeling felt by an occupant in consideration of a human sensual characteristic. SOLUTION: A riding feeling evaluation value H is determined by a following expression based on the magnitude V of floor vibration and the magnitude S of a vehicle compartment sound: H=a(S)×V+C (C is a slice). In this case, a weighing factor a of the vibration V is changed so as to approach asymptotically toward zero, and to have a smaller absolute value, as the magnitude S of the vehicle compartment sound is enhanced. Hereby, riding feeling felt by a human is evaluated by taking a sensitivity change of a vibration felt by the human by a sound. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
