PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating device requiring a small installation space. SOLUTION: A rotated object is mounted outside, and a mount part 6 for a television set is provided on the outer peripheral surface of a hollow cylinder 4a. A plate-like body 10a is installed to cover the undersurface of a cylinder 4b engaged with the cylinder 4a, and a bevel gear 10b having its center axis aligned with the center axis of the cylinder 4b is positioned on the plate-like body 10a inside of the inner circumference of the cylinder 4b. A bevel gear 22 meshed with the bevel gear 10b is provided in the inside of the cylinder 4b.
