PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a constant velocity universal joint which comprises porous solid lubricant for inexpensively improving the internal lubrication of the constant velocity universal joint. SOLUTION: Liquid agent 8a containing a resin component as the base of the porous solid lubricant is poured from a center hole 11 of an inner ring 3, and a sealing plug 150 is inserted through a shaft member fitting side into the center hole 11 and protruded from the counter shaft member fitting side of the center hole 11 and the shaft member fitting side of an outer ring 1. The resin component in the liquid agent 8a is foamed and hardened under the existence of a lubricating component to form the porous solid lubricant 8. Then, the sealing plug 150 is removed from the center hole 11 and non-occluded auxiliary lubricant is poured into a space formed on the counter shaft member fitting side of the center hole 11.
