PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric pump unit reduced in size in an axial direction, improved in assemblability by having fewer components, and surely and stably applying a preload on a rolling bearing. SOLUTION: A small groove 13f is formed on a surface of a pump plate 13 to communicate with a small space 2a formed between a pump plate 13 and a tip part 37t of a motor rotor. Oil is introduced to a space 2a through the small groove 13f under a pressurized condition with accompanying operation of an internal gear pump 2, and preload is applied on a rolling bearing rotatably supporting the motor rotor via the motor rotor.
