PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator for a faucet suppressing a wasted flow giving no torque to a moving blade to improve power generation efficiency. SOLUTION: The generator for a faucet comprises: a shaft member disposed approximately in parallel with a main flow passage; the moving blade which is provided with moving blade vane parts projected radially outward from the shaft member and a flange part projected radially outward from the moving blade vane parts and formed to at least either an inlet part or an outlet port of a bypass flow passage branched from a main flow passage, and can be rotated around the shaft member while its radial movement is restricted by the shaft member; and a receiving part with which an axial end part of the flange part is slidably in contact.
