PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular type parking system wherein a center line in the longitudinal direction of a floor-plate is in parallel to a straight passage even when passing on a corner passage while being capable of approaching a reciprocal straight passages. SOLUTION: Approaching a corner passage 2 at an entrance by means of a circulating chain 6 on a pair of cam driven roller conveyers 17, a floor plate 9 of a returning-side straight passage 5 supported by a ball bearing 16 for free-direction load goes on while vertical-strip shaped rack teeth on the rear face of the floor plate 9 meshes with axial teeth 13 of a long vertical pinion bar 12 and a center of the floor plate 9 moves to the passage 2 by means of the circulating chain 6. Accordingly, the floor plate 9, sliding vertically along the axial teeth 13 of the vertical long pinion bar without always tilting its central line in longitudinal direction, moves horizontally along with the free rotation of the vertical long pinion bar 12 and follows the circular movement while meshing with the other vertical long pinion bar 12. After reaching the top of the passage 2, the floor plate goes on remaining quarter of the circle, moves to the going-passage and returns to the passage 5 in circle. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
