PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functionalized nanosphere lubricant which can be used for reducing friction or wear between all kinds of movable parts. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing the lubricant is disclosed. This method includes provision of rigid nanospheres with a size of less than about 500 nanometers.
