PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a highly pure aromatic amine compound, especially a triarylamine or a diarylamine at a low cost and in good yield. SOLUTION: The method for producing the aromatic amine compound comprises reacting a halogen-containing aromatic compound with an amine compound, in the presence of a copper salt, a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound and a base, while sequentially removing byproducts derived from the base to the exterior of the system.
