PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new organic electroluminescent device. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent device comprises an anode, a cathode and a functional organic layer between the anode and the cathode. The functional organic layer comprises at least one among a light-emitting layer, a hole injection layer, a hole transport layer, an electron transfer layer, an electron injection layer and a hole blocking layer. At least one of the hole injection layer (HIL), the hole transport layer (HTL) and the electron transfer layer (ETL) comprises a host material and an inorganic inert material doped in the host material.
