PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and easily detect a defective portion at which a chemical conversion film is not formed, based on a color appearing after the article has been immersed in an evaluation liquid, and evaluate the uniformity of the treatment. SOLUTION: The liquid for evaluating a formed state of a chemical conversion film for steel comprises an iron-dissolvable liquid and a pH indicator, and has a pH value of 4.0 to 8.0. The lower limit of a pH transitive region of the pH indicator is higher than the pH value of the whole evaluation liquid by a pH value of 0.1 to 3.0. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
