The dissipation of the electrical power by ionic conduction in a free jet of the first monopropellant triggers the spontaneous decomposition of the first monopropellant and the production of the combustion gas (14) ensuring the ignition of jets of a second monopropellant from a main injector arranged in the vicinity of the second electrode (5).
