Control method for producing ground markings, and reference beam generator

The control method involves producing an electromagnetic reference beam. A reference plane is fixed by reference beam as conducting ray. A derivation of the orientation relative to the reference plane is determined. An application of the marking substance is controlled to produce ground markings according to the orientation. The intensity in the solid angle covered by the reference beam is varied in time during the production of the marking. An independent claim is also included for a reference beam generator for producing an electromagnetic reference beam for execution of the control method.
