METHOD AND SERVER FOR COLLECTING DATA TRAFFIC PATTERN OF WIRELESS INTERNET DATA SERVICE

A method for collecting data traffic patterns and a server therefor are provided to process/analyze data packets as well as generated traffic in a wireless Internet data service offered by a synchronous or asynchronous mobile communication system. A server collecting data traffic patterns comprises the followings: a communication unit(240) receiving data packets through interworking with a synchronous or asynchronous mobile communication system; and a data analysis unit(210) produces L3/L4 packets by classifying packet data by L3/L4 units by using L3(Network Layer)/L4(Transport Layer) header information. The data analysis unit generates the L3/L4 service packets by discriminating services corresponding to the L3/L4 packets after combining the L3/L4 packets with service data. The data analysis unit generates an UDR(Usage Data Record) after receiving/filtering diameter accounts, extracts the L3/L4 header information, and then produces a CDR(Call Detail Record or Contents Detail Record) by correlation of the UDR(Usage Data Record).
