Method for charging a battery of a standalone system

The method involves measuring temperature of a battery during passing of the battery from one charging mode to another charging mode when the voltage at terminals of a battery attains the predetermined threshold value, where the latter charging mode is voltage charge at the temperature. The former charging mode is current charge that is regulated at maximum value of a load charge, which is function of the charge state of the battery and the temperature of the battery.
