A method of producing organic pigment nanoparticle agglomerate and organic pigment nanoparticle nonaqueous dispersion is provided to manufacture a color filter coating solution, an organic pigment nanoparticle dispersion suitable for the inkjet ink, and the dispersion. The organic pigment nanoparticle nonaqueous dispersion has excellent disperibility and high contrast. An organic pigment nanoparticle agglomerate is prepared by reacting at least one organic low molecular compound having the molecular weight of 1000 or less and at least one organic high molecular compound having the molecular weight of 1000 or more to the organic pigment nanoparticle dispersed in the aqueous medium; and after cohering, isolating it. The organic pigment nanoparticle dispersed in the aqueous medium can be cohered by dissolving the organic low molecular compound and the organic high molecular compound with a solvent mixed in the aqueous medium and adding it in the aqueous medium.
