A method of constructing a floor comprises arranging a plurality of structural beams 703 alongside each other and spaced apart from each other, so as to produce a plurality of bays between the beams 703, and arranging a plurality of flooring panels in each bay. Each flooring panel comprises a main body section configured to fit substantially between a pair of beams, an under-hanging portion extending from one side of the main body section, the under-hanging portion arranged to extend underneath a beam 703 and into an adjacent bay. A first set of flooring panels 701 is arranged with under-hanging portions extending in a first direction relative to their corresponding main bodies, and a second set of flooring panels 702 is arranged in a second, opposite orientation. |
