Electrically-conductive vulcanized elastomer compositions comprise, per 100 parts by weight of unvulcanized elastomer, 40-400 parts of an electrically non-conductive filler and 2-15 parts of gasification carbon. The filler may be of reinforcing or non-reinforcing type. In examples, compositions comprise natural rubber, SBR or neoprene as elastomer; carbon black, silica or clay as filler; gasification carbon; conventional vulcanizing agents etc.; and one or more of the following ingredients: 2-mercaptobenzimidazole, phenyl - # - naphthylamine, a plasticizer sold under the Registered Trade Mark "Dutrex-55", diethylene glycol, triethanolamine and magnesium oxide. |
