The present invention relates to the dispensing of gloves 21 from a dispenser 1. The dispenser 1 comprises a container 2' and a plurality of disposable gloves 21. Each glove 21 has a cuff 23, the gloves being stacked 20 one on another with the cuffs 23 of the gloves 21 being aligned on one side of the stack of gloves 20, which is held within the container 2'. The container 2' has a plurality of sides, and said sides 6, 7, 8 defining at least one vertex 12. The container 2' has in use a dispensing aperture 11 for dispensing the gloves 21 and which spans one vertex 12 defined by the sides and which is covered prior to use by a removable cover 4. The gloves 21 are oriented in the container 2' so that the gloves are positioned for dispensing cuff-first through the aperture 11. The dispenser 1 may includes compression means 16, 17 for compressing the stacked gloves 20 prior to dispensing, and release means 4, 10, 16, 17 for automatically releasing the compression to aid free dispensing of gloves through the dispensing aperture. |
