A system for controlling the supply of power to non drive systems (for example air conditioning, mobile phone chargers, entertainment systems, cigarette lighters), within a vehicle. Said system switches off or decreases power to said systems when a demand above a threshold is placed on the drive system , for example during rapid acceleration or hill climbing. Further when excess power is available (for example during hill descent) the power to said non drive systems may be increased or switched on. The system thresholds may be pre-set at the point of manufacture or may be set by a user. The system may further be manually over-ridden or switched off by a user. |
