摘要 A cleaning robot unit and a cleaning method thereof are provided to improve cleaning efficiency by subdividing a work area and performing mapping for the separated sub area. The cleaning robot unit comprises a sub area signal generator for generating signals according to each sub area; a receiver(11) for receiving the sub area signal generated from the sub area signal generator; a controller(12) for generating the signal of the sub area in the process of going around the sub area; and a storage(13) for storing the information on the sub area generated in the controller. The cleaning time of each sub area is calculated on the basis of the information obtained while going around the sub area. The cleaning is performed for the calculated cleaning time.
