AIR BREATHING FUEL CELL STACK

An air breathing fuel cell stack is provided to prevent the dryness of a cathode and to operate it for a long time while maintaining the stack performance by suppressing the moisture evaporation of a cathode effectively. An air breathing fuel cell stack consisting of an anode, cathode and electrolyte positioned between the anode and cathode, comprises a membrane electrode assembly; a membrane electrode assembly producing the electricity with the electro chemical reaction of the oxygen of the circulating air flowed into cathode and the fuel supplied to anode; a fuel supply part which is combined with an anode and supplies the fuel to the anode; a cathode current collector(40) contacting the cathode; a cathode end plate supporting the cathode current collector; and a filter(30) positioned between the cathode current collector and the cathode end plate.
