A cosmetic composition is provided to prevent aging of the skin excellently by using a paeonia suffruticosa andrews extract, to have an antioxidant effect, to accelerate a growth of cell and a synthesis of a collagen, to prevent collagenase, to remove skin wrinkle, to improve moisture and elasticity. A cosmetic composition contains a paeonia suffruticosa andrews extract. The paeonia suffruticosa andrews extract is extracted from a mixed extraction solvent including water, alcohol and glycol. The mixed extraction solvent is manufactured by mixing water, alcohol and glycol system. The alcohol is one or more selected from methanol, ethanol, propanol and butanol. The glycol is one or more selected from butylene glycol and ethylene glycol.
