The rig (1) has a vertical mast comprising a fixed part (11) along which a movable structure is slidingly mounted, where the movable structure carries a rotating and fixing head of a driven element such as rod or set of rods to realize the drilling. One end of links is fixed to the fixed part while another end is connected to the movable structure. Two linear jacks (V1, V2) are symmetrically arranged in a plane passing through an axis of the rod.
