The device (24) has an acoustic filter (32) for amplifying acoustic vibrations of a specified frequency bandwidth and a pressure sensor (28), which is connected to the acoustic filter for detecting the acoustic vibrations. The acoustic filter is a resonator, particularly a helmholz resonator. An independent claim is also included for a method for measuring acoustic vibrations in the fluid flow, particularly for measuring thermo acoustic vibrations in a combustor of a gas turbine installation.
