<p>The engine has several cylinder banks (101,103), which include several cylinder heads (102,104), and a lubricant circuit for lubricant supply of the cylinder heads. A lubricant connecting channel (110) is provided between the cylinder heads and a pump (114), which is operative in the lubricant connecting channel, for conveying the lubricant from one cylinder head to the other cylinder head. The pump is driven in an electrically controlled manner, and arranged between the cylinder banks. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a pump of an internal combustion engine.</p> |
