A pressing member for a slide mechanism, the slide mechanism for a portable apparatus and the portable apparatus are provided to reduce the interval between the first frame body and the second frame body. A pressing member for a slide mechanism(1) narrows the interval between the first frame body and the second frame body. One end of the pressing member is connected with one of the frame bodies which are slidably connected with each other. The pressing member presses the second frame body on the first frame body so that the second frame body can slide in close or open direction from a predetermined opening/closing position. The pressing member is a flat spring which is capable of making pressure of the width direction of the first frame body or second frame body strong.
