A connector with a terminal inserting function is provided to detect that a terminal is not inserted and insert the terminal, which is not inserted, completely, thereby simplifying work processes. If an operation part(20) is guided and moved by the first guide groove, a hook jaw(22) is inserted to the inside of a housing through the opening(16). At that time, the operation part is located in the rear bottom portion in a hook unit(32) of an electrical terminal(30). If the operation part is guided and moved by the second guide groove, the hook jaw contacts with the hook unit of the electrical terminal. The hook jaw moves while pushing the hook unit forward. The electrical terminal is completely connected within the housing, the operation part is completely connected in an opening unit to prevent the electrical terminal from moving backward.
