The control has a pressure signal input for receiving pressure signals that reproduce pressure in a combustion chamber (2A). A pressure sensor (4) measures the pressure and is connected with the input for feeding the signal. A speed signal input receives speed signals that reproduce rotating speed of a crankshaft, and an evaluating unit (5) determines the pressure in another chamber (2B) depending on the speed and pressure signals of the chamber (2A). A correcting device (9) corrects the speed signal around variations produced by vibrations of a drive train. An independent claim is also included for a method for determining pressure of combustion chambers of an internal combustion engine. |
