A mirror support (14) is supported rotatably at the base in such a manner that the mirror support is brought into an operating position and a parking position. A pivotal drive automatically rotates the mirror support relative to the base around a rotational axis. A catch projection (18) and a spring element (20) are designed for reversible snapping of the base and the mirror support exclusively, when the mirror support is rotated with non operated pivotal drive.</p>
