PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech recognition apparatus with a high speech recognition rate. SOLUTION: In the initial state, a signal processing part 3 regards network grammar including an unknown word as an object to be recognized. When, however, a user operates a correction switch 14 for correcting a recognition result and speaks again, the user clearly recognizes the speech contents and unknown words such as "Well" are less included.
