<p>The method involves attaching adhesive labels (1a, 2a) at the ends of two rovings (1, 2) that are connected with each other, and positioning the roving ends one after another in roving travel direction. Attaching additional adhesive labels (3) on the roving ends. The labels (3) extend over the labels (1a, 2a) at the roving ends, so that the labels are connected with each other. Breadth of labels is greater than the breadth of rovings. The labels are attached on the roving ends, such that each label comprises an overlaying region with a width of 2-5 millimeters at both sides of rovings.
