A control method of a wireless optical mouse is provided to accurately move a cursor in a desired direction and at a desired speed even when a user uses mouse turning the mouse over. A control method of a wireless optical mouse comprises the following steps. A mode of an optical mouse is set up at a presentation mode, and a mouse body(10) is contacted to an imaging hole by being turned over in the direction of its axis. The light of an emitting member built in the mouse body is transferred to an image sensor(14) by being refracted after colliding against an object, and the image sensor calculates the displacement values of the transferred light. A negative symbol(-) is multiplexed to the displacement values for turned-over axis direction among those values, and then the values for the axis direction is recalculated. Based on the recalculated displacement value, a microcomputer(30) moves the mouse cursor in the same direction with the movement direction of the object. |
