A liquid discharge head and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the impact accuracy of droplet by arranging the outlet formation surface of the liquid discharge head close to a recording medium. A liquid discharge head(1) comprises an element substrate(3), a supporting member(2), a supporting part(19), and connection wiring(14). The element substrate comprises a flow channel formation member with an outlet through which droplet is discharged and a discharge energy generating element generating the energy for discharging droplet. The supporting member comprises wiring(4) in which the electricity for driving the discharge energy generating element is delivered. The supporting part(19) is located in the space between the supporting member and the element substrate. The connection wiring the wiring provided on the inner side of the supporting member and a heat generation element(10).
