A potentiometer sensor for display wall mount is provided to insert and couple a shaft of a gear transferring rotation motion of display wall mount and a shaft hole of a potentiometer, thereby preventing error accumulation phenomenon due to backlash. A gear(200) receives rotation motion of a driving unit and transfers the rotation motion to a potentiometer. The gear is engaged with a gear combined with a driving shaft of a motor to receive the rotation motion of the wall mount driving part. The potentiometer generates an electric signal corresponding to rotational motion of the shaft combined in a shaft hole(230). The potentiometer can convert an rotational angle of the shaft to a current value when a voltage is applied through a variable resistor. The shaft(210) is positioned in a central part of the gear as a rotation axis of the gear. The shaft comprises the first shaft member(212) and the second shaft member(214).
