A coffin contains the case with the bottom, the sidewalls and the end walls, and the cover attached closely to the upper edges of the sidewalls and equipped with the guides. To decrease the mass of the coffin without sacrificing its strength, the case and the cover are made of gas-filled polymer. The bottom is made integral with the sidewalls. From the outside of the bottom and the sidewalls, the transverse grooves for the reinforcing elements are made with the equal spacing. The guides of the cover are designed as the longitudinal ledges with their external side surface mating the internal surface of the sidewalls of the case. In the second embodiment of the invention, the cover is made sectional in the middle along the transverse line; the guides of each part of the cover are designed as the longitudinal ledges with their external side surface mating the internal surface of the sidewalls of the case. |
