METHOD FOR PROTECTING MYOCARDIUM IN CORRECTING MITRAL VALVULAR DISEASE

A method for protecting myocardium in correcting the mitral valvular disease provides for supplying the crystalloid cardioplegy under the pressure through the coronary sinus. The cardioplegic solution is supplemented with 50 mL of the oxygenated blood and 50 mL of Refortan in 300 mL of the physiologic saline with the pressure within 15 mm Hg and reperfusion intervals of 20 minutes.
