A terminal for managing QoS information by using a smart card and a method thereof are provided to supply a service of high quality from mobile ommunications network by resetting QoS(quality Of Service) information. A storage stores the QoS(Quality of Service) information(230). An interface unit(220) receives the changed quality of service information of the mobile communications service through the mobile terminal from the mobile communications network. A controller(210) determines whether the stored standards quality of service information by using the changed quality of service information, and resets the standards quality of service information.
