The invention relates to measurement of fuel flow rate, in particular in fuel systems of combustion engines. A compensator of hydraulic shock with mechanical fuel flow counter has a tank with damping elements. The tank has inner closed partition that separates it into two multi-passage compensation chambers connected to each other through fuel counter only. Inner volume of each compensation chamber is separated into several cavities with discs. Each disc has opening for overflow of working liquid from one cavity to another. Neighboring discs are installed in such way that openings of those are in opposite in diameter positions. Damping elements are arranged as inserts in convex form, made of elastic oil- or petrol-resistant material. A low pressure fuel supply pump is connected to the inlet fitting of the compensator tank, and input of high-pressure pump to the outlet fitting. Pressure pulses brought about at operation of both pumps are damped at inlet and at outlet of compensator as well. Due to that the counter is protected against those pulses from both sides. The invention provides increase of the counter lifetime and increase of accuracy of fuel flow rate registration. |
